September 3, Labor Day--a female had an asthma attack while hiking in Interstate Park in Taylors Falls and required emergency care by Lakes Region EMS.  Taylors Falls firefighters assisted her in getting back to the parking lot. She refused transport. Incident was called in about 4:30 p.m.

Lakes Area officers were asked to help deputies with a “fight” in Center City on Summit Avenue, very early Sept. 3, reported about 1:15 a.m.  No arrests.

Losses from a mini-storage in Rush City reported.  Entry believed to be gained from an adjoining unit.

Tuesday, September 4 a counterfeit bill reported at MidwestOne Bank, Chisago City.  Federal authorities will get the case.

A male party was reported to local authorities as being suicidal. Lakes Area Police and deputies got the alert from another agency, and deputies located the man elsewhere from his Lindstrom address. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital for care.

September 4 a deputy noticed goose feathers on a canoe in a pickup truck bed, at the Carlos Avery Pool Number 1 parking area, on Stacy Trail, about 9 a.m.  Upon checking out the vehicle, the deputy learned the occupant reportedly had taken a Canada goose illegally. Case was turned over to the area DNR Conservation Officer.

Royal Concrete, Stacy, reported a forced entry to a cabinet.  Loss is “many thousands of dollars,” and includes copper welding wheels.  Theft must have been between Sept. 1 and 2.

September 5 a male fell on a sidewalk in Lindstrom by the channel bridge. Head trauma caused officials to have him taken to the hospital by ambulance. Incident reported about 5 p.m.

A residential burglary on 410th Street reported. Cash and a 1984 Winchester rifle missing.

September 6 two youth ticketed for e-cigarette use at Chisago Lakes High School.

Friday, September 7 a Huffy bike was collected as abandoned in Lindstrom, on Broadway. Call police to describe and claim.

A yellow Lab/Shepherd mix dog was a stray near Jason Avenue and Green Lake Trail, Chisago City. She went to Northwoods Humane Society.  No collar, no tags.

Sunday, September 9
A man pursued out of Washington County by their deputies, north on Manning Trail,  suspected of DUI -- struck a power pole at 9 p.m. near the county line at 240th.  The suspect was taken for medical care. Power was out briefly in the area, Xcel was summoned.

At a home on Matthew Drive, Chisago City, a woman was allegedly being assaulted Sunday, Sept. 9 about 6:25 a.m. Alleged to resist arrest the suspect engaged in an altercation with Lakes Area officers and Officer Haller sustained a broken leg, according to the Chief of Police.  Ryan Lee Thompson, 35, is charged with obstruction and assaulting an officer.
