Vonnie Evans-Moore passed away April 15, 2019 in the home of her dear friend Carina and Charles Hafner in Shafer, MN, at the age of 56. She went peacefully after a short battle with lung cancer.

Vonnie is preceded in death by her father John "Jack" Evans and mother Delia "Dee" (Troan) Evans.

Vonnie is survived by her children, Jacob Moore and wife Melissa Moore, Cody Moore and wife Monica Moore and Vanessa Ann Lillian Martagon; grandchildren Luca Moore (Cody), Paizge Creen and Dominick Martagon (Vanessa); sister Karen Evans and husband Todd; brother John "Jack" Evans and wife Debbie; as well as many children and grandchildren she took in and loved dearly over the years.

Lavonne "Vonnie Evans Moore was born in St. Paul MN, December 2, 1962. She was raised in Chisago County MN and graduated from CLHS class of 1981. She traveled after graduation but ultimately returned to the Chisago community to live out most of her adult life and raise her children. She worked in the area doing many things but her passion was always helping anyone and everyone in need. She spent every moment she could on the lake and with friends and family.

We invite all who want to celebrate her wonderful life to join us at her celebration of life to be held at the Shafer Saloon, May 11 at 1 p.m.
