Chisago Lakes new school open to students August 28, public tours later
The new Lakeside School on Karmel Avenue, designer with design renderings shown below, is also the new location of district administrative offices, which had been housed at the middle school.
The community is invited to tour the new Lakeside School in October. There is a public Open House scheduled for Friday, Oct 4 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct.5 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The students who are attending Lakeside this fall and their parents/guardians are encouraged to come see their classroom and meet teachers August 28. Students with last names starting A-L should attend from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and students whose last names start with M-Z, should attend from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, North Branch Area Public School construction projects are continuing on schedule.
The work there entailed a new fitness center and remodelled areas at the high school and middle school, roofing and improvements to security and outside repairs, etc. at all the buildings.
The public open house event for North Branch facilities is set for Friday, September 6. Work done at Sunrise Elementary School, the North Branch Middle School and high school can be seen by the general public from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
