The Chisago County Press had lots of entries submitted for the Holiday Coloring Contest, which closed Dec 18.  The 2019 coloring contest winners are here on the front page:  in the age group for ages 3 to 5 the entry we chose was by Hailey Hansen, 5 years old, who even added candies in her front walkway.  In the age group 6 to 8 the winner was Kenrick Waldemar, 6 years old.  He went full out rainbow on his winter cottage coloring.  Madelyn Barton, 10, won the 9 to 11 age group.  Winners can stop by the office here in Lindstrom and collect their prize and artwork anytime during business hours.  Others who entered can retrieve their drawings if they want them back, we’ll hang onto them.
