February 17
Lakes Area officers responded to complaint about snowmobiles off the marked trail, near 314th and North Lakes Trail and being operated in Allemansratt Park, Lindstrom.  Motorized vehicles are prohibited in this park.  Officers erected barricade, did not locate active snowmobiles.

February 16
Loose horses on Keystone Avenue,  in Sunrise Township,  reported about midnight. The deputy and owner rounded them up and confined them in about 20 minutes.

February 15
Deputies and North Branch Police responded to a potential narcotics overdose, victim was at a Holiday station store in North Branch. NARCAN was administered and Lakes Region EMS transported the subject, who was showing signs of consciousness.  Incident reported about 1:30 a.m.

Also Feb. 15 Lakes Area Police went to a scene where a suicidal person was armed with a knife. Report was at address on 316th Street, about 5:30 p.m.  Assisted by a deputy,  the police took the allegedly combative subject into custody and he was hospitalized.

February 14
Diesel fuel spill called in for Stacy-Lent firefighters to handle, at station pump in Stacy. Incident happened about 6:15 a.m.

A corrections officer at the Chisago County Jail was injured (scratches) when an inmate broke a door window  in a cell and reportedly assaulted the C.O.  The county attorney is considering fourth degree assault charges.  Incident happened shortly after midnight.

Lakes Area Police went to the scene of a reported domestic incident in Chisago City about 11:20 p.m.  There was an arrest made of a 49-year-old female, accused with possession of controlled substance.

The Community Service Officer for LAPD performed three “kennel” site visits at homes in Chisago City housing four dogs. No violations reported.

February 13
A Taylors Falls light pole was discovered damaged and area snowplow operator admitted to hitting the pole. Payment for damages are being worked out with city staff.
About 2 a.m. a K9 unit with the Chisago County Sheriff’s Dept. was called out to Pine County to aid in locating a suspect fleeing. The man was apprehended not long after.

Thefts from fish houses on Green Lake reported. Stolen items include rods, reels, Sharp T.V. a tailgater receiver box, Vexlar, webcam and generator.

February 11
A 7-by-12 utility trailer reported as stolen from a parcel, west of #14 on Ivywood Trail. Loss happened in daytime.
 
A skidsteer at a site on the side of Olinda Trail had its windshield broken out, possibly a large rock thrown. The value not determined.

Unity Bank in Rush City reported counterfeit money arrived in a local business deposit.
