Charles Alfred Nelson, 82 of Chisago City, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 peacefully at home.

Charlie was born on February 3, 1937 in Balsam Lake Wisconsin the son of William C. and Norma (Stone) Nelson. Charlie leaves to celebrate his memory: daughters, Cathy (Tim) McLean, Wendy (Pat) Nelsen; sons, Mike (Linda) Nelson, Mark, and Dan (Kelly) Nelson, brother, Steven (Lori) Nelson, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Norma Nelson, brothers John and Leroy Nelson, and sister Karen Gibson.

Charlie will be laid to rest at the Balsam Lake Cemetery in the spring.
