The North Branch gymnastics team is finally healthy, and starting to round into the form they all expected in the preseason.
They traveled to Princeton on Saturday, January 5 to take part in the Clemensen Invititational, and they took sixth place out of 12 teams. Although that’s in the middle of the pack, the meet is loaded with some great Class A teams in Bemidji, Monticello and Perham.
The Vikings tallied a 137.0 to earn their spot, with both Angie and Bekah Fish and Paige Bauer leading the way. The trio had an amazing day on the balance beam, with Angie leading the way with a 9.4, Bauer a 9.2 and Bekah a 9.1. Bauer also registered a 9.1 on vault and a 9.2 on floor to lead the charge for North Branch.
“The girls are starting to bring their routines together and we’re getting healthy, which has been great for our results,” Head Coach Chris Johnson said.
