North Branch Area Middle School (NBAMS) is proud to announce that 7th grade student Grace Larson is the winner of the 2019 Spelling Bee! Larson earned her victory by correctly spelling the word "electrolysis."

In second place was 8th grade student Theresa Beck, and third place was Norah Judson, also an 8th grader.

Both the winner and runner-up received a metal from Resource Training & Solutions. Larson was also awarded a $25 gift card to Barnes & Noble.  Larson and Beck will participate in the regional spelling bee on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Resource Training & Solutions in Sartell. Winners of the multi-region, and the state competition advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee the week of May 26 - 31, in Washington, D.C.
