Tyler Carach has delivered 75,000 donuts to law enforcement and first responders, in 41 states, and after this week he can count the Chisago County public safety community amongst  the personnel he has thanked.

Tuesday morning this week was Tyler’s fourth time visiting Minnesota to do his thing as “Donut Boy” the caped crusader for public safety gratitude.

Weather doesn’t deter his mission; and in fact he told officers this week that the weather in Iowa, which he  drove through  coming here from his home near the Florida-Alabama border, was the worst weather.

Tyler and his mother Sheena delivered 20 dozen donuts (also eclairs, fritters, long johns) supplied by Rush City Bakery, to the new county public safety center in Center City.

Investigators, officers, deputies, dispatchers, and EMS from the area stopped by and enjoyed a thank you donut.  Donut Boy then was escorted to jail, where he delivered treats for jailers.

Tyler aims to thank every law enforcement agency in the U.S. if possible.

As a fifth grader his elementary school allows homework lessons to be completed on the road.  And, yes, Tyler hopes to become a law enforcement officer when he grows up.  He hasn’t lost his love of baked goods either. His favorites are s’mores donuts and pineapple upside down cake donuts.
