John Martin Prill, age 81, of Chisago City, MN passed away on January 20, 2019.

Born June 17, 1937 to Hannah (Martinson) Prill and John Robert Prill. Loving father and grandfather, mortgage banker, commercial appraiser, avid outdoorsman and animal lover. He was a graduate of Cokato High School, Class of 1955. He served in the U. S. Army Reserve as a tank commander in the early 1960’s. He completed his training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota, majoring in English. Jack had a distinguished, over 40 year, career in the mortgage banking and commercial appraisal field. He headed the appraisal division at the Minneapolis office of Equitable Life Assurance, was an associate at Rothschild Financial Corporation and Forsythe Appraisal, LLC. He then established his own commercial appraisal business with his partner Woody Lievers, Commercial Appraisal and Consulting Group.

Jack is preceded in death by his mother Hannah; father John; and brother Loren. He is survived by his brother Robert Prill; sister Linda Pedersen(Thor); loving, longtime partner Judy Buck; daughters Julie Tienken (Mike); Lori Blaine(Kerry); Kella Alam (Ehsan); Cheryl Reynolds(Paul); and son, Dan Prill(Kristi Zajac). Jack is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

His witty, outgoing and generous nature will be dearly missed by his loving family, many friends and his cherished dog Rosie.

Services were at the American Legion in Forest Lake.
