Delores Maxine Lam was born to John (Jack) and Marie Wonsmos in Atwater, Minnesota on November 2, 1927.  She married Edward Lam on February 4, 1947.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed, sons Gary and Jack, and sister Marlys.

She is survived by her children Judy (Richard Nelsen), Mike (Diane), and Julie (Leland Peltier) Erdman; brother Gene (Joyce); grandchildren Ryan (Susan), Shelly (Aaron), Trisha (Mark), Gary (Shannan), Becki (Dave), Dan (Jessa), and Jaclyn (Cody); great grandchildren Logan, Brooke, Preston, Luke, Megan, Jonathan, and Patrick; and niece, nephews, and friends.

Mom loved nature and the outdoors and spent many hours hiking, camping, and fishing.  She even bought a piece of land up by Grantsburg, Wisconsin, had a garage moved up there and made it into a small cabin in the woods.

Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Parmly Chapel in Chisago City with visitation one hour prior to the service at Parmly.  Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom.
