Several assault/domestic  violence incidents handled over the week. A fight, for example, at an address in Chisago City, on Oak Street reported at 9:50 p.m. March 24. One arrest, one fled, scene secured.  In another case a Taser was required.  Lakes Area Police also went to assist Wyoming Police and state patrol on apprehending a combative, fleeing suspect on I-35.

There were calls reporting a possible fire in Allemansratt Park, on North Center Lake. There were controlled fires set to maintain vegetation.

March 23 a detached garage caught fire at an address on Mobeck Avenue, Center City, reported about 2:20 a.m.  Building was a total loss but firefighters contained damages to just that structure.

March 20 a dog was collected on Irene Court, Lindstrom and turned over to Northwoods Humane Society. It is a gray, male, no collar no tags, Shih Tzu mix.

March 18 Monday night the sheriff’s patrol and state patrol were involved in a search for suspects wanted on warrants, using a helicopter and on foot. The incident began on Forest Blvd. north of the Harris area.  A male and female walking were questioned by a deputy about 7:30 p.m. as to their connection to an empty parked car. They said they knew nothing, kept walking and the 26-year-old female ended up in a residence on Heather Lane, near 500th St., Rush City. She was apprehended. The male was never located.
