May 20 approximately the Lakes Area Police received a few calls of fake $100 bills being found on streets in Lindstrom. The obviously counterfeit money was forwarded to Secret Service.

An ATV operator was arrested and cited after being reported as weaving amongst traffic on Hwy 95 in North Branch and hitting a vehicle about 5:45 p.m..  The ATV was found in Countryside Mobile Home Park and a 36-year-old man was booked on the moving offenses and probation violation.

Complaint of fire on Morgan Court, south of Lindtrom was called in about 3 p.m.  Authorities found prohibited debris leftover from burning two small outbuildings and cited the owner.

May 21 a theft of a trailer reported. Item is enclosed, white and 7 by 14 feet in size. Tools and supplies were inside. The loss was from a Lent Twsp. work site.
Stacy-Lent Fire Department went to a grassfire on the freeway.

A car was located abandoned at a cemetery on Stark Road rural Harris about 6 p.m.  Deputies found a syringe inside in plain view on the console and it tested positive for meth.

May 23 a goat was reported tangled about 7:20 a.m. in an electric fence on property in Chisago Lake Township on 318th.  A deputy freed the animal and made a repair to the fence to secure it.

A call about a loose boat on East Rush Lake about 8:45 a.m. Boat registration was checked after boat secured to shore, and owner notified.

May 26 a four-car crash at the Applewood Nursery entrance on Hwy 8 was reported about 1:10 p.m.  No report was avaialble from state patrol.

A grassfire on 360th needed Almelund Fire Department to put it out, in Amador Township about 3:45 p.m.  Property owner to be billed for firefighters’ time as it was a purposely started fire that got out of control.
