The sheriff’s K9 unit is called to track a driver of a vehicle involved in a property damage crash near Stacy at Falcon and Fawn Lake Drive, reported about 2:40 a.m. Unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
November 9 two males on snowmobiles in a yard on Park Trail crash into each other while enjoying the early season. Incident reported about 8 p.m. One is transported by ambulance and the other in a private car.
A fire call to multi-unit apartment building on East Street, in Chisago City sees three departments dispatched: Chisago, Lindstrom ladder truck and Center City trucks are sent a little after 1 p.m. No reports of injury.
A burglary reported at a barn on Olinda Trail south of Lindstrom, about 4 a.m. Deputies find signs of occupancy but unknown if anything is missing. The barn alarm was triggered.
November 8 theft at Wild Mountain, value $100. Authorities are reviewing a videotape. Called in about 1:45 p.m. by staff.
A dumpster fire was handled by Chisago City firefighters believed to have been started when a can of stain put in the dumpster combusted. Callout was about 8 p.m., on Old Towne Road.
November 5 a cement truck heading southbound on County Highway 30 south of Grand Avenue, North Branch, lost a tire that hit a Chisago County highway department truck driven northbound. The incident was reported about 9 a.m. Cement truck and driver were detained by sheriff’s personnel until the commercial vehicle inspector with the state patrol arrived. The truck lacked MnDOT numbers and other items were of concern. No serious injury reported.
Two counterfeit $100 bills are confiscated in Lindstrom businesses and sent to the Secret Service investigation division.
