Frances was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nellie; husband, Marvin; three brothers Dale, George, and Harry and four sisters; Henrietta, Vivian, Jesse, and Nancy. She is survived by her two sons, Daniel (Elaine) and Gary (Maryanne); two daughters, Suzanne (Jerry) Hasselquist and Jillian (Peter) Jensen; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brother Leroy (Donna) Booth; also many nieces and nephews.
Frances was born August 28, 1922, to George and Nellie (Auen) Booth. She was united in marriage to Marvin Weller on January 11, 1940, in Taylors Falls.
Frances and Marvin owned and operated St. Croix Valley Dairy until 1977. In addition to being a homemaker for family, Frances cleaned for both the Taylors Falls Community Center and Library and worked in the kitchen at Good Samaritan in St. Croix Falls. She was later employed with Springs Inn and Holiday Inn, working until the age of 85. Frances was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar Society in Taylors Falls.
She enjoyed being outdoors whether it was fishing or mowing her lawn, traveling, baking, sewing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Monday, November 18, 2019, at St Joseph Catholic Church in Taylors Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at church. Interment will be in Kahbakong Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.grand strandfh.com.
