A dog bit another dog and broke the skin, in an incident reported on Olinda Trail south of Lindstrom, about 11 a.m. Nov. 16.  The dog and his man were walking and a large, black and white dog confronted the dog on the leash.  The owner said he kicked the large dog after it bit his dog, and it ran off.  The animal was located nearby and the deputy facilitated a cooperative plan to get the injured dog cared for and to contain the wandering dog.

A patrol deputy noticed smoke and entered a property on 335th about 10:30 a.m. to investigate.  Homeowner was not thrilled to see him at her home.  There was an alarm being activated for the smoke, which was determined to have been coming out of the dryer. Lindstrom Fire volunteers arrived and gave advice on venting the dryer and checked for dormant hotspots.
