Jeremy was born February 9, 1979 to parents Doug and Darcel (Matz) Greene. He was raised in Center City and attended Chisago Lakes High School graduating in 1997. Jeremy attended drafting school and worked for Lino Lakes Correctional Facility and W.L Hall Company before moving to Texas for three years where he was employed by Covert and Associates. He returned to Minnesota in 2018 and worked for the MN Department of Transportation.
Jeremy enjoyed a good game of softball and headed up teams for years. He found so much joy in being with friends and family, enjoying time together. Jeremy’s other interests included snowmobiling, cooking, grilling, motorcycles, good spirited conversation, and spending time with his son, Brody.
Jeremy will be greatly missed for his humor, smile, and the ability to light up any room. There will never be another guy like him. He was often known by his number 88 and always said in reference to it, “It’s more than just a lucky number to me. It’s a lifestyle. Double infinity because no one can forget me.”
Jeremy was a fighter and his family watched him fight to the very end of his life, here on earth.
Jeremy is survived by his son Brody Kaske, parents Doug and Darcel, brother Travis (Laura) Greene, sister GariJo (Lonnie) Miller, grandmother Doris Greene, nephews Jadon and Beau and niece Audrey and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom, on Saturday, October 5, 2019. A Celebration of Life will follow at Chisago Lake Township Hall in Lindstrom, from 3 to 8 p.m.
