September 1
Many calls received complaining of gunshot noise as a result of goose season in this area. Calls were checked out and firearms were being used legally.

There was a burning incident in Fish Lake Township on 464th Street handled by a sheriff’s deputy. Prohibited material was obvious in the ash debris, and the fire was not being watched.

Deputies recovered a vehicle reportedly abandoned on a Rush City street for sometime. The car was stolen out of Ramsey County and owner retrived it.

Couch and loveseat dumped on 375th in Sunrise Twsp.  County had to dispose of.

August 31 two loose cows on Fish Lake/Stark Road reported about 7 p.m.  Complaintant assisted deputy in getting them off the road into a fenced area.

Plates stolen off a vehicle parked along road for sale in Franconia Township.

Polaris UTV caught fire on Oriole Avenue. Reported about 3 p.m. Almelund Fire Department responded but UTV had to be deemed a total loss.

August 30 a teen was cited for vaping at Chisago Lakes football stadium and ejected.

August 29 theft from a property on River Street in Taylors Falls. Loss includes a “water lily” floating ad worth $500 and fishing tackle and equipment kept in a pontoon on the lot.

Shoplifters at Tesoro in Lent Township cited.

Lakes Area Police responded to a call of a large snake in a garage in Chisago City.  Officer provided names and phone numbers for pest control businesses.
