September 16, Goodview and Goldfinch Avenues in Wyoming were closed for a time Monday afternoon as authorities and first repsonders dealt with a motorized scooter crash vctim. The incident was called in just minutes before 2 p.m. The early details are that two Yamaha small-horsepower motorbikes were coming to a stop and the second crashed into the one ahead it. The driver, 57 year old Scott Johnson, sustained head trauma and a landing zone for air ambulance was set up at Goodview Park.  Wyoming Public Safety Director and Chief of Police Paul Hoppe said Johnson was last reported to be in critical condition at North Memorial.

Operating the lead bike was Johnson’s wife Clara, who reportedly was not seriously hurt.

September 15 sheriff personnel called to property damage at a site on Olson Road in between Harris and North Branch. Also, the affected resident shared concerns about excessive off-road activity on surrounding private lands.

A suicide threat by someone known to have a handgun, in Chisago City had Lakes Area Police responding and subject voluntarily went to a hospital for evaluation.

A bike rider and vehicle crashed at the intersection of North Lakes Trail and Hwy 8 in Lindstrom, but the bicyclist did not require transport. Accident was about 10:50 a.m.

September 14 a garage was broken into overnight and tools and chargers were missing. Incident was at an address on Lacy Avenue in Chisago City.
A two-vehicle crash was reported about 2:50 p.m. at Green Lake Trail and Hwy 8.  The state patrol did not immediately respond to requests for details.

Three middle school students in Chisago Lakes were cited for e cig use and one high school student cited for traditional tobacco use on school property.

September 11 a subject had cut their wrists and Lakes Area Police were dispatched to assist. The incident happened about midnight.  They went to the hospital.

September 10 storage units at Stacy Mini-Storage were broken into. Inventory of missing items being compiled.

September 9 A THC vaping cartridge was confiscated at the Chisago Lakes High School. Student is under investigation for charges.
