A demonstration and literature distribution event,  to heighten awareness of activities endangering our planet,  took place at the Chisago County Government Center Friday, Sept. 20.  The “global day of action” supported by LiveAble Planet MN and Women Thinking Out Loud-- attracted a few dozen local residents.  To connect with others who are fighting for the future, see their websites,  and also let state legislators and congresspeople know what meaningful actions must you’d want to see being taken.  A gathering put together by Great River Greening, is October 23 at 7:30 p.m. at McNamara Alumni Center at the U of M in Minneapolis.  Business leaders explore top environmental issues at this Business Forum. Tickets are $50.
