About 7 p.m. there was a report of a two vehicle crash at 270th and Highway 8 in Chisago City. Both vehicles ended up in opposute ditches. No injuries reported.
March 27 sheriff’s patrol took report of a theft of a bicycle in Taylors Falls on River Street. Item is valued at $1,700 and is an Advocate Lorax model.
ATV trespassing incident investigated by sheriff patrol. The tracks were visible on land off 445th in rural Harris, and were followed to a residence in Harris. ATV owner was advised to not go on complainant’s property.
March 26 a garage on 470th Street outside of Harris was fully engulfed when firefighters were sent out about 11:30 p.m. The fire was approaching a house.
Rustic Inn in Stacy reported an attempted burglary. Cameras showed a male suspect trying to open the register and trying to get in where the pulltabs would be stored. Security video showed the break-in about 1:33 a.m.
March 24 a catalytic convertor was reported as cut off a truck in Chisago City. Could have happened anytime the last few prior days.
March 23 there was a semi trailer truck parked at the lot at Sacred Grounds in Stacy and it was broken into and moved. Items were missing from the truck, according to the owner who found the disturbed rig early in the morning after it had been messed with. Remnants of food items and lottery tickets purchased at Stacy Kwik Trip, were found in the truck, and surveillance video from the store will assit investigators in finding the suspect.
Lindstrom Hardware reported a theft. Lakes Area Police located the female suspect and cited her.
