Sunday, November 30 state patrol reports are that a single passenger car northbound on #61, rolled over causing traffic problems on Higway 61 in Forest Lake, about 8:30 p.m.  The driver was transported with life threatening injuries. No cause was disclosed.   Wyoming Police, Forest Lake firefighters and EMS, and Washington County Sheriff personnel were at the scene, on Hwy. 61 at 240th.

State Patrol said there was one person in the Honda Accord and identifies the driver as Mark Odegard, 29 of Inver Grove Heights.

November 29 a couple of small fires reported, both about 2 p.m.  A dryer caught fire in Rush City and Rush City Fire responded, all occupants of the trailer home were out of the structure and no injury reported.  

A structure fire was also reported in Amador Township on River Road.  No details available.

Also Nov. 29 a hunter came across a safe on the edge of is cornfield, reporting it to authorities. The safe was emptied of contents and the hunter hauled it back home on his utility vehicle for deputies to take a look.

November 27 a couple juveniles were spotted on the roof of Trinity Church in Lindstrom, reportedly in the act of attempting to climb the steeple.  Lakes Area Police officers had a talk with the parents. Incident recorded at 10:30 p.m.

November 25 Lakes Area Police went to assist at the scene of a watermain break in Lindstrom, reported about 6 a.m. at Maple and Third.

Incidents of mail tampering reported over a couple days’ time. Envelopes, etc. were found scattered on roadsides in Lent Township, Foxhill and 311th area, and in Stacy at Ferris Trail and on 320th.  

A construction trailer carrying tools reported missing from a home construction site in Chisago City.

In Shafer a caller reported people atempting to steal a trailer and two snowmobiles about 1 a.m., with the incident also being recorded on a surveillance device. Suspects were identified and located. Investigation is continuing.  

November 24 a pursuit of a suspect first pulled over in a traffic stop by Lakes Area ensued when he fled about 10:30 p.m.  Sheriff patrol assisted with a K9 and tracked the man running on foot in the area of Green Lake Trail and 258th.  The suspect, 48, was apprehended near where the call originated from. and was booked for no license, among other alleged offenses.

November 23 a male suspect reported to be suicidal was attempted to be detained by Lakes Area Police for a mental health hold. The man ran from a Railroad Ave., Chisago City address, while allegedly holding a knife and got in a vehicle, which he soon crashed.  Authorities eventually brought him in for evaluation.
