Royce was born on June 19, 1960 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin to parents, Roland and Viola (Dallman) Chinander. Royce attended Polk County Schools graduating from Unity High School in Balsam Lake with the class of 1978. He married Linda Cross on August 12, 1989 at her parents’ house in Stillwater. Royce started and owned Lakes Area Mud Jacking and also owned and operated The Coffee Depot located in Brinks Plaza for 11 years. He enjoyed woodworking, birds, gardening, clocks, motorcycles, home improvement projects and his church. He always was interested in learning new things. Royce loved spending time with family especially his grandson, Leo.
Royce is survived by his wife Linda; sons, William Royce; Christopher Royal (fiancé Kaitlyn Borst) and James Ralston (fiancé Mandy Kurosky); sister Robin C. Chinander; brothers, Ronnie, Royal (Kathy) and Ralston (Jana); aunt Marguerite Chinander; grandson Leo Christopher Chinander and numerous cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Viola Chinander; brother Rolvin Chinander; uncle John Chinander; aunt Maurine Melin and uncle Glen Melin.
A private family service will take place followed by a Celebration of Life Service at a later date with interment at the cemetery in Almelund.
