Kimberly Kay Stone, age 51 of Taylors Falls, MN, died Sunday, February 9, 2020, at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Kim was born May 2, 1968, in Chisago City, MN.  She was the daughter of David and Nancy (Anderson) Oberg.  Kim attended Grace Christian High School in Forest Lake, MN and received her Associates Degree in Child Development from Century College.  She was united in marriage to James Stone on October 17, 1987, in Chisago City, MN.  

Kim had been the co-director for Room for Growing Daycare for many years.  She was a member of Alliance Church of the Valley in St. Croix Falls, WI  Kim enjoyed watching Vikings football, playing Scrabble, and trips with Jim to Duluth and the North Shore.

Kim was preceded in death by her brother, Shane Oberg.  She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Jim Stone; sons Jimmy (Katie) Stone and Michael Stone; granddaughter, Alexis Stone; parents David and Nancy Oberg; sister Cary (David) Mosel; sisters-in-law, Jo Oberg, Carolyn Marcott, Kathy McCauley and sister-in-spirit, Deb Rhoads; also nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Alliance Church of the Valley in St. Croix Falls.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.  Arrangements are being handled by Grandstrand Funeral Home of Osceola.  Condolences may be expressed at www.grandstrandfh.com.
