Annie was born October 3, 1920 in Taylors Falls. Her parents were Mathias and Charlotte Lindgren. She graduated from Taylors Falls High School, May 1939. She was a life long member of First Lutheran Church of Taylors Falls and taught Sunday school for 35 years.
Annie was the youngest of six children, she is proceeded in death by her parents; brothers Carl (died in Sweden), Swen, Hjalmer, Axel, Olaf Lindgren; sister Marie Swanson, and by four nephews, Donald, Roger and Carl Lindgren and Arthur Swanson.
Annie was survived by many nieces and nephews: Laura Blumer, Charlotte Carlson, Ellen (David) Kasper, Eleanore Collins, Alvina (Jim) MacMillen, Evelyn Vermeersch, and Helen Swanson, Hjalmer Peter (Donna), Raymond (Nita), Marvin (Lynn), also many great and great great nieces and nephews.
Annie was employed for 37 years at the Mueller boat stand, Trollhaugen and Dallas House. After retirement Annie’s house was a "Home away from Home” for employees of the National Park Service, Kluges and people coming from Sweden for training at Hazelden.
Annie was an excellent cook, where she enjoyed entertaining many friends and family. Her specialty was baking, where she made beautiful Christmas cookies.
Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2020 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Taylors Falls, Minnesota with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Kahbakong Cemetery in Taylors Falls, Minnesota.
