Alan was born January 17, 1922 to Arthur and Esther Holmgren in Chisago City.
He is survived by daughter Janelle Hennen (Rich Vangen), sons Joel Holmgren and Wayne Holmgren; granddaughters Jessica Buche (Brad) and Brianna Ladoucer (Kenneth); great granddaughter Harper Buche and many beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Alan is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Lois (Shaleen) Holmgren and sisters Marjorie Crawford and Grace Hedgpeth.
Funeral services were Friday, December 27, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church in Chisago City. Interment at West Green Lake Cemetery in Chisago City.
Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or charity of your choice.
