He was born to parents Alvin and Edna Blesener, on April 28, 1939, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Al graduated from Mechanic Arts High School and went on to hold a variety of jobs, most notably at the St. Paul Fire Department.
He moved to Wyoming, Minnesota and started several businesses including; a hardware store, a liquor store, laundromats, a construction company and most recently, a gun show hobby to buy and sell ammunition.
Al was a unique guy with a wide variety of interests and friends. He traveled the world with his wife Sandy. His wish was to let the world know he lived his life “my way.”
Alvin married Sandy, the love of his life, on January 10, 1959. She sadly passed away in 2017. Al was also predeceased by his parents Alvin and Edna Blesener and his brother Bill.
He is survived by his children; Cheryl (Dennis) Stoffels, Dan (Jodi) Blesener, Jeff (Theresa) Blesener, and Mark (Cindy) Blesener; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Alvin is also survived by his brother Russ Blesener and brother-in-law Dave (Carol) Roerig.
