January 5 there was a snowmobile operator thrown from his sled, after he accelerated and hit a driveway approach near 59000 Stark Road, Harris, that was reported about noon. The man was transported to Wyoming Fairview with injuries.
North Branch Police retrived a counterfeit $20 from Holiday (west) in town. Employees were unsure when it was passed.
January 4 North Branch Police made an arrest of a male for a warrant, detained as police were looking into a complaint of firecrackers being tossed at traffic.
January 3 A domestic incident reported in rural Lindstrom at Nottingham Court resulted in one arrest. Report came in about 2 p.m.
Student identified for making threats to bring gun to Chisago Lakes Middle School-- school resource officer and staff spoke with suspect who said he just wanted to get arrested. County Attorney has file for review.
A male was arrested Thursday, January 2 suspected of burglary at D & S Storage in Harris. A suspicious person was spotted about 1 a.m.
Female cat, grey and still with claws, collected as a stray in area of Sportsmens Drive and North Avenue, Chisago City and brought to Northwoods Humane Society.
Lakes Area Police stood-by as Xcel repaired a gas line that had been hit during excavation at a homesite on Neal Ave. in Lindstrom. Call came in about 9 a.m.
Jan. 2 Pine County asked for assistance in apprehending a robbery suspect, fleeing south on Forest Blvd. (old Hwy. 61) about 11:45 p.m. The suspect was arrested after a coordinated traffic stop manuver was executed by local law enforcement near 403rd in North Branch area.
December 31 sheriff deputy called to Rush Point Store, west of Rush City, to look into the welfare of a woman there who said she had been pushed from a moving vehicle. The woman was found to be on probation, was asked to agree to substance tests and refused. She was not hurt and was escorted to be booked in jail.
Shafer Franconia firefighters aided a man in getting out of deep snow, as he was stuck in a ditch on Olinda Trail at Oldfield Road, about 3:25 p.m. The pickup he drove into the ditch was eventually towed out.
