What a weekend that was with the Vikings pulling out a win in New Orleans.  I would like to say I knew they had it in them, but that would be a big fat lie.  I hate, hate, hate that I am ingrained to expect the worst with Minnesota teams such as the Vikes and the Twins.  I honestly think it’s a generational thing that is passed down from our parents and their parents etc.  I can vividly remember watching the Vikings with my dad where he would get up during the third quarter and head to the garage to change the oil or something else (not sure he was doing anything at all, just not watching the game).  

Now I find myself heading up town to gas the cars up for the week, or suddenly noticing the dog needs a walk. Thanks Dad for the great trait...

Numbers are staring to increase for the 2020 Home & Business Expo.  As I wrote here last week, they have reduced the rates this year to  make the show bigger than ever before.  We would love to have your business in the show!  We are hoping the new community center will bring in a ton of more visitors and the show will hopefully be gigantic.

Speaking of business exposure, we are just getting the ball rolling on the 2020 Chisago Lakes Area Activities Guide.  Why should your business be included in this 90 plus page informational magazine?

The guide is filled with pertinent local information including community events, local lodging, recreation, shopping, health and wellness, professional services, housing, and youth sports are just a few of the many sections that highlight our great area.  This is our 16th edition of the guide and we have seen it grow from a 36 page black and white tab to a 90 plus page guide filled with color, photos and tons of local business ads.
