January 13 Complaint of people sleeping inside of a running vehicle near the complainant's garage. Officer responded and located a vehicle that was running with people sleeping in it parked legally on the street. Officer made contact with the people inside and advised them that they should move to a parking lot to avoid violating winter parking regulations.

January 14 Victim reported that he had been contacted by "Publishers Clearing House" numerous times since September, reporting that he had won the sweepstakes. The caller was able to have the victim send a series of certified checks in various amounts, totalling approximately $186,000 including fees.

January 14 Complaint of a vehicle driven by the suspect who was said to be drinking wine while driving with children in the vehicle. Officer searched the area but was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

January 16  Report of a student that was suspected of having marijuana. School staff searched the student and did locate marijuana in her jacket. After talking with the student, it was found that she was possibly dealing marijuana on school grounds. Case is under investigation.

January 17 Student at Chisago Lakes High School student refusing to leave class after getting a referral. Officer stood by as school admin convinced student to go to behavior room. Student eventually went to behavior room and calmed down.

January 19 Report of a one vehicle roll over where extrication would be needed. Officer arrived after driver was able to exit the vehicle. Medical personnel were on scene looking after the driver upon arrival.

January 19 Suspect who fled from a stolen vehicle in Lindstrom, after crashing attempted to take multiple vehicles from a residence and put one of the victims vehicles in the ditch. Suspect also fought with the victims neighbor and caused minor injury. Suspect was arrested by Chisago County Sheriffs Department.
