The Chisago County Historical Society is pleased to announce the History Center museum, research library and gift shop in downtown Lindstrom have reopened.  Visitors are limited to 25 percent of building capacity at this time and are requested to wear masks and practice social distancing.  New sanitation and protection practices have also been implemented to help keep everyone safe.  

Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 AM – 4 PM.  Admission is free for CCHS members and a $3 donation is suggested for other visitors.

The lovely “Quilts from the Past” exhibit runs until the end of July and have created the following NEW displays in the museum include  an old fashioned laundry; a 1920’s era millinery/dressmaker shop and a large collection of advertising pinback buttons from the 1890’s-1960’s.  A shoe-making display and a Native American display are coming later this week, and next.   Please stop by and have a look. The center is on main street in Lindstrom.
