Sunday, June 14 a motorcycle approaching County Road 12 on Hwy. 95, eastbound, locked its brakes and laid down about noon when the motorcycle driver told authorties an SUV was entering the highway from a stop sign, and didn’t appear to have seen the bike.  A woman who was a passenger was taken to the hosputal with what was reportedly a broken leg.

June 13 an incident sent Wyoming Police to an address on Euclid Avenue about 10:30 and sheriff deputies were called to assist and set a perimeter in case the suspect tried to flee.  A search warrant was successfully executed and a subject was brought in.

Complaint at an address on Keystone Avenue, rural Chisago City, about a target shooting neighbor. Authorities determined the target was not set up 500 feet from the nearest structure, and advised shooter to halt.  Complaint came in about 2 p.m.

A young girl was bitten by a two-year-old Labrador dog at the state park outside of Almelund.  Incident was reported at the Wild River campgrounds about 7:25 p.m.  Injury was to her face and she was transported for medical attention.

June 11 Sunrise Prairie Trail,  in the area of Lent and Stacy, vandalized with spray painted messages related to the George Floyd death in Minneapolis and general racial unrest.  The county parks director was also involved in an accident about 10 a.m. when he was visiting the site to inspect the graffiti.  He was turning onto the trail near the Stacy Lions Park and collided with another pickup truck, hauling a trailer.  The incident did not cause any injury to either of the parties or seriously  damage the county Ram truck or Tahoe driven by a private citizen.

A vehicle parked on Fenwick in Wyoming had a slumper inside and authorities responded to the site.  The person in the vehicle was awakened and arrested for stolen vehicle.

A death of a 20-year-old, at an address on 498th in Nessel Township, is being investigated.  A search of the property was warranted and conducted, according to early reports.  Authorities were dispatched to the site about 2:25 p.m.

June 10 there was a report of theft from a construction site in Lent Township. A ladder and air compressor are among missing items.

June 9 a 34 year old male involved in a road rage incident, about 4:25 p.m., was taken into custody by Lakes Area Police for allegedly pointing a gun at another vehicle.  Arrest at Akerson and Lake Blvd. in Lindstrom.
