Forest Lake Contracting got going on the Hwy. 95 roundabout just east of downtown North Branch.  Sitework started Monday this week.  The project is where the newly-extended County Road 14 meets Highway 95.  The section of County Road 14 that goes past the North Branch Middle School and stadium complex, to Grand Avenue, will be turned over to the city and the county takes over the north extension segment.  The roundabout is slated to be done before Labor Day and Hwy. 95 should be re-opened for its role as a busy Hay Days route (if the annual motorsports fair takes place this year.) Along with the county, MnDOT, the city of North Branch and a developer of a new housing plat are cooperating on project costs.
