FYI...Be aware that cities with ordinances prohibiting winter overnight parking on streets are enforcing that rule as of November.  If the streets in most cities in this area are not clear of vehicles snowplow operators can’t do their job- You could be towed and/or ticketed.  

Overnight parking prohibition expires in April.

November 7 a disturbance concerning a male customer reported at Al’s in Center City, and a deputy took the alleged suspect home.  Call came in about 9:55 p.m.

A vehicle drove into a residential yard in Rush City on Bremer, about 10:35 p.m. Nobody was hurt, property damage recorded. DUI arrest made.

November 6
Three vehicles parked at the Osceola Landing on the river in Franconia Township were broken into. Various items missing.
Brief pursuit of a suspected drunk driver, involving a Lakes Area Police officer, about midnight. Incident ended at Karmel and Hwy. 8 in Chisago City when car went into a swamp area. Male suspect, 30,  able to get out of car and turn himself in.
 
A little after midnight the Wyoming Police were assisted by a deputy in apprehending a suspected drunk driver, who caused a disturbance at the Wyoming Holiday station, fled and put his car into a nearby low area.

November 5
Fire reported at Johnson Lane and Hwy. 8 in Chisago City, aboout 3:30 p.m.  A small tractor was on fire and leaves were catching too. Chisago City Fire Dept. took care of the tractor and a Lakes Area Police officer used a fire extinguisher to put out the surrounding leaf pile burning.

November 4
Rush City staff alerted deputies of no water use showing at a home meter and requested a site-check. A bypassed meter was discovered and the owner was cited for “theft of services.”

Lakes Area Police administered dose of NARCAN and revived an overdose victim in Lindstrom.  Involved juveniles on-scene were placed in county protective care.

A vehicle window was smashed on Locust Street, Taylors Falls.
