There was a peaceful transition allowing for the newly-contracted Veolia Water North America to takeover operations for the Chisago Lakes Joint Sewage Treatment Commission.  The first week of corporate operations was Sept. 21 to 25, but the elected officials who oversee the system remain in place.  Pictured are CLJSTC members saluting some longtime staff who retired concurrent with the transition to Veolia: front row trio-- plant supervisor Mark Nelson with 40-plus years; office manager/bookkeeping and commission clerk Deb Steele and engineer Ron Lafond.  The commission is made up of representatives from Stacy, Lindstrom, Chisago City, Wyoming, Center City and the county.  In photo: left to right-- Jeremy Dresel, Bob Gustafson, Tony Olivolo, Kevin Stenson, David Waldoch, Joe Zerwas and Dennis Schilling.
