A theft of items from a property on Forest Blvd. in Lent Township reported. A jukebox is among the missing goods. Locks were cut and forced entry apparent.
Lakes Area Police did a traffic stop about 1 a.m. at 276th and Hwy. 8 and located a 24-year-old man with an Anoka County warrant and apprehended him.
October 8 juvenile aged riders of ATV in Lindstrom were contacted by Lakes Area Officer who spoke with parent and informed all involved of ATV rules and to not be operating on city streets.
October 9 a motorcycle crashed on Anchor Avenue in Fish Lake Township about 10:15 p.m. Driver was airlifted to HCMC. No report available. There was one vehicle only involved.
October 8 a wheel came off a combine, on Hwy. 95 with a detour set up at 350th and Reed Avenue to get around the scene. State patrol was at the scene but the report was unavailable. Almelund Fire Dept. aided at the scene with deputies.
October 7 report of suspicious activity and Lakes Area responded finding a male suspect going through vehicles. Suspect had warrant for was allegedly in possession of meth.
October 6 a person had gone unconscious around 11 p.m. in their vehicle parked at Casey’s in Taylors Falls. First responders could not waken the “slumper” and law enforcement was notified, but as they arrived the man awakened and fled in the car on Hwy. 8, westbound. The deputy used a pursuit intervention technique halting the fleeing car a few miles out of town. Charges are pending for no license, possession and the ownership of the vehicle was being determined.
October 5 storage containers at a property on Kost Trail were entered forcibly and tools and other equipment are missing.
