Burnt food set off an alarm at Point Pleasant Heights about 6:10 p.m. Chisago City fire and police responded, no property damages.
There was a report of a gun found in one of the public showers in Rush City, at Holiday. Deputies got the receipts of shower users and followed up on the owner of the gun, learning a customer had left it behind.
A door at a mini-storage in Rush City was smashed by a vehicle and stored items are missing.
October 24 theft of items from a storage unit in Fish Lake Township.
All day October 20 multiple crashes due to weather. One roll-over crash on Highway 8 needed Lindstrom firefighters to assist in extricating a driver, with a deputy at the scene. This was reported about 3 p.m.
Theft of hunting gear reported from an unlocked car in Harris on 443rd St. No descriptions.
October 19
Suspects were spotted allegedly stealing scrap metal from a property south of Chisago City, about 3:45 p.m. Deputies sent case to county attorney for charges.
Trio of suspects brought in related to Oct. 1 stabbing due for hearings soon
Three area men charged with aggravated robbery and aiding and abetting in an October 1 hold-up, are due in court early November for initial hearings.
North Branch Police were alerted to a call of a stab wound injury about 3 a.m. at an address on Harder Avenue. In talking with the victim and associate the officer was advised three men were giving the two a ride and while in the car, allegedly robbed the complainants of over $1,000 cash and drugs.
The complaint states the alleged described suspects were known to authorities and the vehicle believed to have been involved in the incident was easily found at an address on Evergreen Avenue. Jerome Oakgrove, 27, Thomas Maurer, 36 and David Lee Talbot, 36 were arrested.
Authorities utilized a K9 to locate one suspect, and the others were brought in without incident.
