September 20 there was a report of a vehicle crashed into a house in Rush City but upon arrival, deputies found a car with the driver’s side window shattered but no damage to the dwelling.  The incident happened on West Second Street, about 9 p.m.

September 18 a crash on County Road 17 (Athens Trail) near the park and ride on the east side of the freeway, was reported. A truck/trailer was turning from westbound #17 into a business on the north side of the road, when an Impala passenger car hit it from behind.  The Impala driver was taken by Lakes Region EMS to Cambridge Hospital. The truck driver had minor injuries. He stated when his trailer was impacted it blew his hat off.  Incident called in about 7:40 a.m.

Also, Sept. 18 there was an arrest by the county of a suspect in a burglary, reported at an address on 310th in Shafer Township about 10:22 p.m.  The suspect was apprehended after he attempted to flee on foot. He had broken into the house through a window.

A hold-up alarm at a business in Rush City sounded about 6:44 p.m.  Authorities from various departments responded but it was a false alarm.

September 17 a potentially dangerous dog designation was given to an animal involved in a dog-on-dog bite attack at an address on Lakeview Road.  Lakes Area Police were called about 4 p.m.

Car fire at Tesoro station on I-35 at #17 reported about 4:35 a.m. Car fully engulfed, Stacy-Lent responded.

September 16 Two vehicle owners reported thefts of miscellaneous items from their vehicles parked at East Rush Lake access.

Car versus pedestrian accident reported near Chisago Lakes High School, about 4 p.m.  Walker was waiting for authorities and received minor scrapes, etc.  Car driver was cooperating.

September 15
Call of a domestic assault and simple robbery at a Chisago City residence, about 9:50 p.m.  Suspect booked after county K9 unit aided in tracking the man.

Second complaint regarding servers at Scooters in Chisago City-- violations of covid-19 mask mandates reported to Public Health.

An attempted burglary at a dwelling on Glen Oak Road in Wyoming was foiled and Lakes Area assisted Wyoming Police in the arrest.  Incident happened about 6:45 a.m.
