On Friday, September 18, 2020, Taran (Tari) Elizabeth Eng, loving wife and mother of five children, passed away at age 75. Tari was born on May 2, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Tellef Knutson and Dorothy(Bentz) Knutson. On February 8, 1964 Tari married Allen Eng. The two met in high school. Together they had five children, 18 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She received her nursing degree from Anoka Ramsey Community College, her bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University, and practiced as an RN for 30 years at St. Croix Regional Medical Center. Tari retired and became a snowbird living in Port Aransas, Texas and Tucson, Arizona where she spent many of her winters.
Tari is preceded in death by her father Tellef, mother Dorothy, father-in-law Olin Eng, and mother-in-law Hazel Eng. She is survived by her husband, Allen, daughter Vickie(Robert) Orr;  son Richard(Denise) Eng; son Chris(Gina) Eng;  daughter Andrea(Cris) Merry;  son Martin(Michelle) Eng; her many grandkids, and great-grandkids.

Tari’s private service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 for friends and family at 33510 Lincoln Rd. Lindstrom, please call for details. Flowers may be sent to 33510 Lincoln Rd., or donations to the American Heart Association are greatly appreciated.
