March 28 there was a pursuit of a fleeing suspect along Highway 8, at approximately 10 p.m. which halted when the hazards to the public became unavoidable.  The incident was resolved with the arrest of the suspect at the Holiday Station in Lindstrom.

A vehicle parked at the #17 park and ride in Lent Township reportedly was damaged when a catalytic convertor was cut off and a hole was made in a pan.
A criminal sexual conduct case was sent for consideration of possible charges, to the county attorney’s office by Lakes Area Police.

March 27 a possible natural gas leak reported at a residence in Chisago City. Xcel, fire department, EMS and Lakes Area Police were on the scene around 10 a.m. Turned out to by smelly floor drains.

Assault reported at Malmberg Avenue address about 11:30 p.m. An individual was placed on a 72-hour hold.

A Lakes Area officer noticed a skidsteer moving about in a new housing development at 2:40 a.m. Driver was a contractor’s employee cleaning streets while nobody was on the roads.

Two dogs were taken to Northwoods Humane Society by Lakes Area officers, both from Lindstrom streets. One is a black Lab and one is a brown and white Springer Spaniel type breed.

March 26 a garage wall appeared to be on fire and Chisago City fire responded to call by police. Incident happened about 5:19 p.m.
