Calls about “weird lights” seen on water after dark have been coming into dispatch... these are people shining bright lights to locate fish while fishing with bows and sharp arrows.

Multiple calls to Lakes Area Police requesting assistance at the Chisago Lakes Middle School, in a tough week for poor student behavior. One fight had a parent transporting their youth to seek medical care.

Burning restrictions are still on, until there is significant rainfall. Many incident complaints of ill-advised recreational burning and there was one ticket issued for incinerating waste in a burn barrel— which have been outlawed for years.

County cited one person for fishing without a license at the Sunrise Ferry Landing on the St. Croix.

April 2 some calls about vehicles gone through overnight on Neal Avenue area in Lindstrom.  Also incident of theft from vehicle on Old Sawmill Road, Harris. CDs and a metal detector were stolen.

April 1 a female black Lab was transported to Northwoods Humane Society by LAPD, found as stray in Chisago City.

March 31 a Narcan dose was successfully administered to a suspected overdose victim on 310th in Shafer Township. Transport to Fairview in Wyoming also noted. Incident was about 5 a.m.

March 30 a brief deputy foot pursuit was required to catch a suspect who fled from Kwik Trip in Stacy. Incident happened about 9:30 a.m.
Nessel Township was the scene of a grassfire, on Cedarcrest Trail, reported about 10 a.m.
