Obviously I’m not a doctor, (really Matt - we thought you were a brain surgeon) but something is going on here. Soon, the number of people who have had the virus combined with the people who have been vaccinated has to hit close to 100 percent? That is my Chisago math, so it could be way off.
If you wish to choose to belong to the vaccinated group of Minnesotans, getting a shot or shots has never been easier. As I have written before, the state has a website that makes finding a vaccine super easy. Once again, if you know someone who would like to be vaccinated and may not have the means to get to the clinic, reach out to them and offer a ride. You could be saving a life.
We here at the Press are putting the finishing touches on our 2021/22 Chisago Lakes Visitor Guide.
If you are a local business, this is your one time that you don’t want to miss being included in the Guide. It is around 100 pages that are filled with valuable information about the area and filled with local businesses that are easy to find for the reader.
The Guide is a great piece that is circulated throughout the year including in waiting rooms, realtors’ ofices, restaurants, local tourist spots and is also mailed to mostof the Chisago Lakes area. As I said, we are getting very close to being done, so please don’t wait if you wish to be in it. Call us here at the Press at 651-257-5115 or email us at [email protected].
We will help you get your brand, your message, your business products and services out to the public. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Okay its not a gift, but you get the idea.
If you are like me, you have been waiting all year to clean out your garage and under your deck, of all the unnecessary junk that somehow ends up when you don’t remember putting it there in the first place.
Steel Chick kicks off the recycling season this Saturday at the Chisago Lake Township Hall. The event runs 9 am to 1 pm and you can get rid of everything for a small charge. Between Steel Chick and AAA Recycling, and drop-off sites there is no reason to deal with the clutter anymore.
AAA Recycling will host its first event of the season on April 24 at Wyoming Elementary School.
We will have an ad in next week with more details about their event.
