Sunday August 22 Lakes Area officers were asked to aid at a situation in Washington County on Manning Trail, about 1:45 a.m. There was a 9-1-1 call with gunshots heard in background and potential hostage taking. When authorities surrounded the address arrests were made without incident.
August 20 a fire in Stacy at 295th and Forest Blvd. about 11:40 p.m. Property owner could give no explanation for cause.
Lakes Area Police notified of theft of notebook with passwords. Thief asking $50 for its return.
August 16
Stacy Rustic Inn was entered by prying open a door and cash register was vandalized, and small amount of cash taken. Discovered about 6:30 a.m. Video of single suspect is being reviewed, from nearby properties’ cameras.
A dog bit a person next door on Franconia Trail. Microchipping has been ordered.
A motorized lift was taken from an address north of Center City. Unit has no glass in cab and is yellow.
A burglary reported at DAC in Chisago City. Wallet and phone missing from garage area. Surveillance video is being reviewed.
