Parked vehicles are being entered and “gone through” overnights— based on several reports from Lindstrom and Chisago City, the morning of December 22. Streets where incidents were reported included Neal and Pleasant avenues, Park Street, Akerson Court and Stinson in Chisago City.

A firearm is discharged at the scene of an incident in a home. Reported about 9:20 p.m.

Lakes Area police personnel are asked to assist law enforcement in St Croix Falls, about 1:30 a.m. A “standoff” between a suspect and authorities falls apart and no injury reported.

Harris woman killed Wednesday in two vehicle crash
The Chisago Couonty Sheriff’s Office reports a 57-year-old woman from Harris, Brenda Hanson, died at the scene of a two vehicle crash, Wednesday, Dec. 22 in the north end of the county.
The sheriff’s communications center got several calls reporting the crash at Acacia Trail and Stark Road, at 4:11 p.m. Witnesses said there were several injured, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. The fatality on-scene was identified as Hanson.
There were no details that she was a driver or passenger.
State Patrol, Cambridge Police and Fire and Allina EMS assisted deputies.
