As part of the Chisago Lakes Chamber of Commerce Celebration of The Lakes, Chisago Lake Lutheran Church is having its 2nd Annual "Grumpy Old Men Worship Service" at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church, Center City at 9 a.m. on Sunday, February 14.  It will be a Drive-up Outdoor Worship Service in the Lower Parking Lot of the church. Stay in your car...or...wear your Long Johns and Grumpy Old Men Clothes, bring a chair/lawn chair,  sit on a 5 gallon bucket and pretend fish! It's a 30 minute service. Bring your own coffee or hot chocolate to enjoy.  CDC requirements: social distancing, wearing masks  And no smoking please.

Todd Angel, St. Croix Outdoors, donated a hand-made "Green Hornet" fishing rod used in the 1993 filming of Grumpy Old Men to the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church Historical Committee (Sally Barott). He acquired the spare rod from the man who made the original Green Hornet. It will be on display this year...come see it.  The famous ice fishing scenes were hilarious.
