Karen Linnea Vitalis, age 74, of Taylors Falls, Minnesota, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her home in Taylors Falls.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harold Vitalis.

Karen is survived by her loving partner Lee Dombrock; daughters, Heidi (Brian) Glynn, Kelly (Gary) Schaar and Robyn Schaar; grandchildren, Jacob, Nia, Jarid, MacKenzie, Britta; great-grandchild Laylana; brother David (Peggy); sister Elaine (Tom); many nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Karen was born on January 16, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Stillwater High School. Karen was interim director of Family Resource Center in Chisago County, Minnesota; the co-founder of Treasure Alley, an occasional shop in St. Croix Falls, WI and a life-long advocate of the developmentally disabled.

She will be forever loved and greatly missed by family and friends. Memorials preferred to the United Methodist Church in Taylors Falls, MN.

A memorial service will be held at a later date due to Covid-19. Arrangements are with Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola, WI. Condolences may be expressed online at www.grand strandfh.com.
