The Vikings lost all four duals last week, but continued to dominate at the few spots they fill in the lineup.  They went 17-4 in contested individual matches, with both Josh Logan (145) and Brandt Bombard (160) going 4-0.

Wrestling Whangdoodles
Brandt Bombard is ranked fifth in the state in Class AA at 160 pounds.

This Saturday, the Vikings will wrestle a dual with St. Croix Lutheran at 9 a.m. at St. Croix Lutheran High School.  And on Tuesday, February 23, they will host a triangular with Waconia and Delano starting at 5 p.m. at North Branch High School.

The Wildcat wrestling team split its matches last week, beating Rush City-Braham and Pine City-Hinckley-Finlayson and losing to Becker and Princeton.  Andrew Novack continued his stellar season, going 4-0 over the course of two triangulars.  The Wildcats were able to work 13 wrestlers into the lineup over the course of the four duals, giving their younger wrestlers some valuable experience.
