David (Skip) McCarville passed away on January 1, 2021 at Parmly on the Lake in Chisago City.  He was 80 years old.  Skip is survived by his wife Donna Jean; his daughter Donna Marie Larson, of Arizona; granddaughter Jessica Kuiper; great granddaughter Megan Kwiper and sister MaDonna Gerdes, of Iowa.

Skip was preceded in death by his mother Ester and his father Rapheal of Moorland, Iowa, and brother Denis.

After graduating from high school, he attended an electronic engineering school in St. Paul, MN. He then went to work for a TV station in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  After a few years he went to work for AT&T and worked with fiber optics for the next 33 years until his retirement in 1999.  He also spent five years in the Army National Guard.

Due to CoVid-19 interment will be later in the springtime.
