January 17 deputies were sent to an address on Cooper Lane, Rush City on report of older male being assaulted by 19-year old suspect. The suspect was allegedly combative and bit a deputy. Back-up and ambulance were dispatched and suspect was transported due to level of intoxication.  Charges are being reviewed. Incident started about 6:20 p.m.

January 16 man lying unresponsive in street, with injury to head, on the border of township and Lindstrom on Lake Lane, about 4 a.m.  Deputies had victim transported for care and are following up.

There was an alleged altercation and concern for safety of a child at an address on Lang Avenue in Chisago Lake Twsp. County car was sent about 1 p.m. Suspect fled and sheriff’s K9 unit located the man, who was apprehended.

January 15 county involved in multi-agency vehicle theft case, with truck being recovered at Kwik Trip lot in Stacy.  
January 12 a Ramsey County law enforcement alert showed a stolen vehicle “pinging” at an address at 464th in Fish Lake Township and Chisago County was requested to retrieve the vehicle. Chisago took a suspect into custody, about 7 a.m.

Maybe because people are at-home more than usual and students are learning at-home— but, there were a large number of calls about neighborhood nuisance situations, noise, odd activity, and reports of suspicious vehicles to area law enforcement.  Plus, catalytic convertors continue to be cut off vehicles.
