Andrew James “AJ” Mahowald II died peacefully in his parents’ arms several hours after he was welcomed into the world on Thursday, January 21, 2021.  Though his time was brief; the imprint he left on the hearts of those who love him will live on forever.  He will be deeply missed by his parents, Andrew and Suzanne; grandparents, Jim and Janet Brophy, Mary Pat Mahowald (Brad Heil), Jim Mahowald (Linda Notch); uncle Chip (Kristen) Brophy; other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  For those who cannot attend, “live streaming” will be available. 

Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, Minnesota.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Todd and Karen Wanek Family Program for HLHS.  To ensure the safety and health of all in attendance, we will be following the guidelines of Executive Order 20-62.  Please call for additional information if needed.
